Round Table - AI in the world of machine vision: concrete support for design

INDUSTRY ARENA hall 7

In the current Industry 5.0 landscape, the Digital Twin is no longer just a geometric representation, but the beating heart of operational efficiency. The talk explores how the availability of certified technical data and high-quality 3D models — pillars of the TraceParts ecosystem — constitutes the enabling factor for excellence in mechatronic design.
Particular attention will be paid to vision systems, where the precision of digital data makes it possible to simulate with extreme realism the optical integration within automated plants. Through data acquisition and machine learning and deep learning technologies, the proposed technology enables the refinement of a vision system capable of ensuring advanced inspection or, depending on the application, an advanced brain for the robot. Application case studies will also be presented.
The goal of the meeting is to outline a common path among component suppliers, system integrators and technology partners, demonstrating how data management must be conceived from the very design phase of the solution. For this reason, those involved in design will find useful information to make their solutions more effective, creating a tangible and sustainable competitive advantage.
