ESPEIRIA and the new frontier of industrial CAD Automation
Artificial Intelligence is entering industrial processes, but the real challenge is not generating content: it is transforming technical knowledge, business rules and data into reliable and governable actions.
Romina Masiero, CEO&Co-Founder - Lemonjuice Solutions S.r.l.
How energy monitoring silently transforms your company
In an industrial context increasingly focused on efficiency and sustainability, energy consumption can no longer be considered a simple passive cost item to be checked at the end of the month, but a dynamic indicator of the overall performance of the factory.
Astreo, with its IoT sensors and an AI Native Energy Dashboard, enables a 'silent' and effective transformation of manufacturing SMEs.
Through the adoption of non-invasive sensors, installable without downtime and without interrupting production lines, companies gain real-time visibility on every single machine. This constant flow of data makes it possible to eliminate waste, track the CO2 footprint and enable predictive maintenance, evolving operational efficiency and company margins without disrupting existing processes. Alberto Marri, CEO and Co-Founder of Astreo
Vertalis: the digital backbone of manufacturing – how to implement AI in your company
87% of AI projects in manufacturing never reach production: the culprit is data trapped in disconnected systems. Vertalis connects ERP, MES, CRM and IoT into a single digital backbone queryable in natural language, operational within a few days. Two real-world cases prove it: +10% OTIF and -€300k in inventory at a chemical company, +3-5% operating margin at an automotive manufacturer.
Stefano Giancristofaro, CEO&Co-founder, Vertalis
Demand forecasting with AI: what we learned with Bosch and how to apply it in an SME
Planning demand, inventory and production relying solely on Excel and experience is no longer sufficient: the increasing variability of the market requires tools capable of transforming data into more accurate and timely forecasts.
In this talk we will show, through two concrete cases – including the experience gained with Bosch – how AI applied to demand forecasting can help reduce forecast errors, optimise inventory and contain operating costs.
We will also share a practical approach to bringing these technologies to an SME: where to start, what data is needed, what results to expect and how to launch a first project in a few weeks, without having to install complex new software or build an internal data science team.
Laura Mati, founder and COO – Foresaight
A buyer asks AI who can manufacture their part. Can they find you?
How to make your company's technical data searchable by the new AI-based search engines. For buyers, finding a supplier usually goes through a general search engine (e.g. Google, Yahoo Search) and, increasingly, through a question posed to an AI assistant: who can make this component, in what material, with what certifications? If a company's technical data remains in a PDF catalogue or in a poorly structured or unoptimised website, Artificial Intelligence either cannot find it or misinterprets it. With Sellink, we go beyond the PDF catalogue: structured data, certifications and technical capabilities must be leveraged to be found by the right buyers, thus facilitating matching between companies, buyers and suppliers. The talk shows how skills, machinery, certifications and production capacities can be described in a structured form to be read by the latest AI-based search engines, and how this translates into requests for quotation from buyers the company does not yet know, or new collaborations that were previously out of reach. How to connect eight machines from different manufacturers without stopping production
On a Bertoncello Gnocchi line, in Romano d'Ezzelino, eight machines from different manufacturers and generations that speak four protocols work side by side. Until a few months ago they did not communicate with each other: it was known what came out of the line, but not which machine was slowing down or where stoppages were accumulating, and the figures were reconstructed at the end of the shift. Meddle connected the line without replacing machines and without stopping production, and in about a week management had the first real-time line dashboard. In the talk, the story is followed inside the platform, step by step: from the raw machine data to the unified line model, through to OEE per machine and questions asked in Italian via an AI assistant.

Digital certificates, connectivity and cloud: towards a new interoperability of metrology and instrument assets
For us, the digital certificate is not a PDF, but structured data. With DCCs, certificates can become part of a complete digital flow, be read by systems, transferred to instruments and used in processes without manual transcription.
At the same time, the connectivity of instruments, equipment and sensors must go beyond a single vendor, to enable an open, interoperable and truly integrated ecosystem.
