Workshop - MusPlanET: enabling autonomous robotic processes, from CAD to execution

Programming a robot to perform a task often requires specialized expertise, both in robotics and in the relevant domain, as well as lengthy setup and commissioning times and manual activities. MusPlanET automates this step: starting from the CAD model of the part, the operator selects the features of interest for the process and the system automatically generates the trajectory, verifying the path and managing collision avoidance. 3D vision systems allow the digital model to be aligned with the actual position of the part, compensating for any positioning deviations, while the integration of measurements taken with dedicated sensors makes it possible to automate alignment and commissioning operations. The result is a faster, more flexible and easier-to-use process that reduces dependence on manual programming and setup, can be integrated with existing systems and can handle different brands of industrial robots and cobots.
