The growing use of composite materials makes it increasingly important to develop efficient processes for their recovery and reuse. Reclaim-ER addresses this challenge by integrating the recycling of CFRP components, the production of recycled pellets, and LFAM additive manufacturing. The project develops an approach based on simulation and process optimization to reduce dependence on traditional trial-and-error, which requires numerous experimental tests and entails time, costs, and material consumption. Through material characterization, multiphysics simulation, parameter optimization, and experimental validation, it is possible to predict process behavior, reduce iterations, and guide the recycled material toward industrial applications.
