Workshop - The Factory Christmas Tree
TECH ARENA hall 7
In every factory there is a 'Christmas tree' that nobody looks at: cabinets, switches, servers and dozens of little green lights working non-stop. As long as everything works, the IT infrastructure seems almost invisible. But when those little lights go out, everything stops.
Through real cases experienced in manufacturing companies, Luca Soncini, Founder of SOLUNET GROUP, explains why the network is now a true production infrastructure and not just an IT component.
While we talk about Artificial Intelligence, automation and Industry 5.0, how solid are the technological foundations on which we are building the factory of the future?
Because innovating also means making sure that, when needed, those little lights keep on blinking.
